Project Description:

Exploration and development of thermal water to supply the THERME Bad Wörishofen

A thermal water reservoir was developed by the well in the basal sandstone of the Upper Marine Molasse.

According to the called „Small Medicinal Water Analysis“ done by the Institute for Water Chemistry and Chemical Balneology of the Technical University of Munich, the thermal water is a “naturally pure fluoride-bearing sodium-chloride-hydrogen carbonate brine”.

An additional investigation program was carried out in order to prove mineral water quality within the range of depth from 136 – to 374 m.
